This privacy policy explains, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), which personal data is processed when you visit eutempus.at. The eutempus product (planung.eutempus.at and the employee app) has its own privacy information, available here.
1. Controller

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the requirements of Art. 37 GDPR do not apply.
2. Principles
- This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.
- Fonts, scripts and images are served exclusively from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts, CDNs or social networks. The only exception is the product video, and only once you start it yourself (section 3.4).
- All traffic is encrypted (TLS).
- The website runs on infrastructure owned by EUTEMPUS GmbH in Austria; no hosting provider is involved.
3. Processing activities
3.1 Visiting the website (server log files)
When you access the website, our web server automatically records the following data in log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL (if sent) and browser/operating system identifier (user agent).
- Purpose
- Delivering the website, ensuring system security, error analysis and abuse prevention.
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website.
- Retention
- 14 days, after which the logs are deleted automatically. In the event of a security incident, individual entries may be kept longer until the matter is resolved.
- Recipients
- None. The data does not leave our infrastructure.
3.2 Contact form (“Request a demo”)
When you use the contact form we process the data you enter: name, e-mail address, company, phone number (optional), number of locations, your message, and the language and time of the request. To fend off automated submissions we use an invisible form field and a rate limit per connection; for this your IP address is processed briefly in memory but not stored permanently.
- Purpose
- Handling your request, arranging an appointment and preparing a quote.
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, taken at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR with regard to abuse prevention.
- Recipients and processors
-
The request is delivered as an e-mail to our mailbox. For e-mail delivery we use the following
processor:
- SMTP2GO Ltd: Delivery of contact-form e-mails. Seat: SMTP2GO Limited, Christchurch, Neuseeland. Legal basis for the transfer to a third country: EU Commission adequacy decision for New Zealand (Decision 2013/65/EU) and a data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
- Retention
- For the duration of handling your request and up to twelve months afterwards if no contract is concluded. If a contract is concluded, the data becomes part of the contract records and is kept for the statutory commercial and tax retention periods (generally seven years, § 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
- Voluntary provision
- Providing the data is voluntary; without name, e-mail address, company and message, however, we cannot handle your request.
3.3 Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us directly by e-mail or phone, we process the data transmitted in order to handle your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Retention is as described in section 3.2.
3.4 Product video (YouTube)
On the home page we first show only a preview image from our own server; loading the page makes no connection to YouTube. Only when you click the video does your browser load the YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube then receives in particular your IP address, the address of our page and technical details about your browser and device, and may store and read information on your device.
- Provider
- Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes this data as a controller in its own right; see policies.google.com/privacy.
- Purpose
- Playing the product video.
- Legal basis
- Your consent by clicking the video, with the notice shown right next to it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). It covers that one playback only: after the page is reloaded, the video is loaded again only when you click it.
- Transfer to a third country
- Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website neither stores information on your device nor reads any. The only exception is the YouTube player once you start the product video yourself (section 3.4); your click counts as consent. That is why you see no cookie banner. Your language choice is determined solely by the address you visit (/de/ or /en/).
